JITD Women Cell

Jain Institute of Technology has established a Women Cell (WC) to advance and defend the rights of the institution's female teachers, employees, and students. The WC seeks to advance gender awareness on campus and runs a variety of programming to inform, sensitize, and create a peaceful environment for both male and female members.

It works for the benefit of the students and teachers to develop them into skilled professionals ready to take on bigger academic challenges. The intention of WC is to empowering female faculty’s and students to better understand issues relating to women, to stop sexual harassment, and to address other delicate concerns experienced by female students. The college makes every effort to monitor and stop offensive language. Eminent gynaecologists, self defence experts, and social workers host workshops and education sessions for both staff and students. It gives them a platform to express their opinions and experiences about their place in society and offer suggestions for how to get better and become more independent.
